A Few Lovely Spring Trends 🤍

***Originally published on May 3, 2022, on JoyMadeApproachable.com.

Hello!

Today I’m sharing a couple more spring style trends ❤.

I hope you enjoy, learn something new, and get inspired to style your own outfits!

As always, please don’t feel like you need to buy all new clothes or new clothes at all. This is meant as information, a few tips and hints on how to style a few current trends, and a little inspiration. You may even have some of these pieces in your closet already!

A Few Lovely Spring Trends ❤

Cropped tops

I think an image that immediately comes to mind with this trend is something that shows your stomach. However, that doesn’t have to be the case. Wear this trend in a way that works for you, in whichever way that is. If you want to show your stomach, go for it. If you want to be more subtle, go for that!

One of my favorite ways to wear crop tops since I began wearing them a long time ago is with partially buttoned button-downs or cardigans, or a partially zipped fleece, like I would on a day like when I’m writing this, and it’s the end of April in Minnesota and 40 degrees (it’s normally in the 50s – 70s this time of year).

I’d pair these outfits with a black or denim mini-skirt, or jeans, some jewelry, trousers, and white sneakers.

Straight-leg jeans

Another trend that’s been making a come-back the past few years is straight-leg jeans.

Some ideas for styling this trend could be pairing straight-leg jeans with a half-tucked button-down and crop top, with your hair pulled back in a claw clip, and sandals.

Another way to style wide-leg jeans is to pair them with a slightly cropped sweater (it doesn’t need to show your stomach), and sneakers.

Wrapping Up ❤

I’ve shared this before, but I think it’s important to share again: please don’t feel expected to go and buy all new clothes. I encourage you to look in your closet and make decisions based on your own style and the direction you would like to take your style. Another thing to take into consideration is how it impacts your family’s finances if you’re married, or your own if you’re single.

Finally, I encourage you to get creative with your style and how you choose to style, or not style these trends!

Until Next Time ❤

Lots of love to you! I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day :).
